Update on Alex

Alex finished the year with a bang - all A's and B's on his final exams, and he brought up his grades in all of his classes to finish with cumulative grades of almost all A's and B's. Way to go Alex!

He also had a fun white water rafting trip with the youth group at the UU, has had a few friends over since we moved, and walked downtown with some friends to watch some bands in a Music Festival. He CONSTANTLY stays in touch with friends through text messaging (never seems to actually talk on his cell phone).

The guitar continues to be his main activity - he's now working on figuring out an AC/DC song by ear, and proudly can play the entire Iron Man guitar solo. He's made incredible progress!

Still volunteering at the hospital every other week, and helps out a lot around the house (with minimal grumbling).
