The campaign has arrived

Alex and I went to see Bill Clinton stump for Hillary last night at Rec Hall. We had to wait in a REALLY long line for a little over an hour before we got in, and we had to sit behind the stage, but we got to see him, and he was great! The most interesting part was watching him work the crowd afterwards - he really does lean way in to the crowd, with so many people just reaching to touch him, have him sign something, take a picture with him. He's very accommodating. Here are a couple of pics - not great, but OK (click on the pics for a bigger picture that's better to see). The 2nd one would have been so much better if it had taken a split second earlier and got him looking up at us. At that point he was probably only 10-15 feet away.

We're hoping to see Obama on Sunday, too.
