Whose child is this? Alex is now doing his own laundry (without being asked, and we'd still do it if he didn't), he's doing homework and chores on his own, he actually asked me to take him clothes shopping (and picked out something nicer than the usual athletic shorts), and asked me to take him for a haircut! I'm not sure what alien has invaded his body, but it's nice. :)

Kate and Sean are carving a pumpkin at the moment - this is an exciting Halloween for Kate. She still can't stick with a costume idea - she went from Hermione to Sleeping Beauty to Dora to the Little Mermaid. It's a gorgeous day here today.
