First day of school

No first day of school pictures this year. As a sophomore, Alex didn't need to get to school until 10:10, so he was able to sleep in this morning and therefore wasn't up when I left for work. He now walks to school, which is about a mile away. Plans were for one friend to come to our house at 9:30, the two of them to walk to another friend's house by 9:45, and then the 3 of them walk on to school.
