The Little Mermaid getting ready to go trick-or-treating. It was a warm night, so she was plenty warm in just a turtleneck. Alex walked around with us a little while at Kate's request (and got candy just for being such a sweet big brother).
We're probably known as "the scary house." This year Sean just played on the laptop out front while waiting for kids to arrive. I think they thought the laptop was part of the whole effect, but it was just his entertainment. It's hard to get a good picture in the dark - you can't quite see the details like the strobe light and fog. The mysterious red lines on the sidewalk are actually Kate's light-up shoes - she ran into the picture at the last minute and that's all the camera picked up.

Kate's shoes are cooool.... like the camera didn't capture her (are you sure she's not a ghost?), but just the shoes...
I love the crosses... are there things written on them?
Nope - they're just plain white crosses - Sean made them.
