A table that won't fall over...
We bought a new dining room table a couple of weeks ago, and finally got it put together last night. The old one had a leg that was basically just propped up there, so Christmas dinner was a little precarious! The new one is 6 inches wider, and non-expanded (first picture), it's the same length as the old one was when it was expanded. The new one extends another 18 inches (2nd picture). More room for entertaining!
It was a good deal, too. It's made from parawood - a rubber tree - and is a hard wood. But not as expensive as oak or other hard woods. We didn't need anything formal anyway, since our dining room is part of our kitchen.
