Yesterday was the annual Tree Trimming service at the UU. Kate loved making ornaments - we painted for a while with these really cool squeeze 'n brush paints, and then Kate used all kinds of craft scissors to cut out old holiday cards to make other ornaments. Kate LOVES to cut. The tree in the sanctuary is now brimming with ornaments. As part of the high school youth group, Alex helped set up the activities and also helped pull salt water taffy in the kitchen (you literally pull it as you're making it).
