After 3 months of trying to figure out a way to do it, we finally managed to get a piano moved from a house in Boalsburg to our house. Someone at the UU no longer wanted it and gave it to us for free. It's a little beat up, old (made in the 1920's), but all the keys play, so that's enough for me. :) Of course, the planned day for the move turned out to be in the middle of a hurricaine - this added a little extra drama since Mark (my boss & friend) got his truck and trailer stuck in the mud this morning. But he got it out and with the help of his dad and friends, got the VERY heavy piano moved to our house!
