Tonight was Back to School Night at Kate's preschool. She had a great time showing everyone around, especially her big brother. It was fun to meet some of her friends and their parents. She is so comfortable there, which is really great to see. Mr. Richard told us he's going to have her join his recorder class - she's been interested in learning it and he thinks she's mature enough for it. He told us to let him know if it seems too much for her. It's nice to have found such a great nurturing, child-centered place for Kate.

In other news, Kate's dance career seems to be over (at least for now). I thought she hadn't been participating much because she was so tired from school, but she had a nap today and still didn't want to go into ballet. She doesn't seem to want to go again, so we'll just withdraw for the year. I guess we all need to slow down a bit!
