After almost a year of begging, we decided to let Kate get her ears pierced. We took her to the mall on Friday after dinner - she was so excited that she didn't fall asleep until 11 that night. She almost cried, but didn't - the excitement over it was enough to keep the pain from bothering her too much, although she did say it hurt a lot. She's now pointing out her ears to anyone who looks at her.
