I think we have a house picked out! We're doing a little more research in the morning, but are planning on putting in an offer for this house. It's in a cute family-friendly neighborhood with sidewalks and mature trees, quiet street, close to Alex's school, not far to shopping, nice sized fenced-in yard (great for dogs!), and the house itself has a great layout and is huge compared to what we're used to. The decorating isn't quite my style, but that's easily changed. I can't wait to cook in a kitchen that fits more than one person at a time!
